It is an honor and a privilege to serve as President of Augusta West Rotary Club – Medium Size Club of the Year in District 6920.  Augusta West Rotary Club has much to offer its members and their families – service projects both locally and internationally, and wonderful monthly fellowship activities.  Our Club truly exemplifies our motto – Service Above Self.

Our Club currently provides mentors and tutors at A Brian Merry Elementary School, supports the Ferst Foundation through the Greater Augusta Literacy Project, METS (Medical Equipment Transportation Service), GRSP (Georgia Rotary Student Program), an Interact Club at Westside High School and the CART Fund for Alzheimer research.  We also support the Stop Hunger Now project and participate in Project Serve.  Our international projects include Polio-Plus, Rotarians Against Malaria-Papua New Guinea, distribution of eyeglasses in Nicaragua.

I invite you to come join us on Thursday afternoon’s at 12:30 pm at Our Reedemer Lutheran Church’s Fellowship Hall.  You’ll find our club to be a warm and inviting place to meet new people, support your community and participate in international projects that make a difference in individuals lives daily.  I promise you’ll have a great time with us.
